Indian armed forces & Indonesian contingent march side by side. Glimpses from Republic Day rehearsal

New Delhi: With Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto as the chief guest, a 160-member marching contingent and a 190-member band contingent from Indonesia are set to participate along with the Indian Armed Forces on 26 January to mark the 76th Republic Day.

It will be Subianto’s first visit to India as president.

This year’s Republic Day parade will begin with 300 cultural artists playing Sare Jahan Se Achha on musical instruments from across the country.
